A recurring international film festival in Cannes, centred on presenting new cinema and bringing filmmakers, press and the film industry together. Its selections and conversations make it a major reference point for following world cinema. Useful for film professionals and people researching the festival’s films and participation formats; the official source explains the edition, selections and accreditation routes rather than implying that every screening has ordinary public admission.
