Using Lexandry

A few clear rules for accounts, free listings and paid enrichment.

Who we are

Lexandry is operated by Intergalactisch. Email [email protected] for questions, complaints or privacy requests. You do not need an account. Our business details are on Company & contact.

Accounts and listings

Lexandry is a catalog for people and agents. Signing in creates an account if you do not have one. Keep access to your email or Google account secure, and store your recovery code privately. You can delete your account under Security at any time. Paid plans then end at once, without a refund for the rest of the month; public listings stay in the catalog without your name.

Contributors supply listing content. A listing does not prove ownership, endorsement or verification. Check the linked sources before relying on a claim or buying from a listed business.

What you publish

Only submit material you are entitled to share. Be accurate about your relationship to the subject. Do not publish unlawful content, impersonate others, expose private information or misuse the service. Keep information about people relevant to the listing; do not submit sensitive personal information, such as health information, or private contact details. The Listing rules say what can be listed and are part of these terms. You retain your rights in your content; submitting it lets Lexandry store and display it to provide the catalog.

Published listings, source links and contributor names are public, including through our agent interfaces. Drafts stay private. We may hide listings to address unlawful content, abuse or rights complaints. For a pattern of breaking a listing rule we may ban an account: its listings become private, renewals stop and there is no automatic refund. You can contact us to ask for the reason and request review. Report an issue through your account or email us using Company & contact; an account is not required to make a complaint.

Subscriptions and renewal

Anyone can add the free basics of a listing. Free includes no tags or sources and starts no subscription. Only the current authorised maker or representative managing a listing can buy its optional paid enrichment. Each paid listing has its own monthly subscription; there is no paid account tier. The subscription buys the capacity and reports described by the selected plan, not the product or service it links to, ownership, or a higher search position. Review the price, currency, taxes and recurring charge at checkout before paying. Current prices are launch prices and may change. A changed price applies from a listing’s next renewal, never to a period already paid, and is shown with its start date on the listing’s payment page.

You can stop renewal through the listing’s payment page in your account. Paid features remain available through the confirmed paid period. Afterwards, the last published basics remain public as Free unless the listing is explicitly hidden or restricted. Tags and sources become inactive and are saved privately; paid reports close. Hiding a listing is a separate action by its authorised manager and also stops renewal. Paying never automatically republishes a hidden listing. Stopping renewal is different from exercising a legal right to withdraw from a purchase.

Upgrades take effect after payment, with the remaining price difference prorated and the existing renewal date retained. Downgrades take effect at the period end and require you to choose the context that stays active. A management transfer starts no purchase and gives no access to the previous payer’s payment method or invoices. The previous paid period runs to its fixed end date, renewal stops, and unused time is not refunded merely because management changes. The new maker confirms any subsequent purchase separately.

Payments and support

Intergalactisch provides Lexandry and remains responsible for your listing service. We use Stripe Managed Payments, provided by Sold through Link, LLC, as the merchant of record for payments. Checkout identifies these purchases as “Sold through Link”. Stripe handles payment processing, receipts and invoices, payment-related support, and applicable indirect taxes in the countries covered by Managed Payments.

You can manage your purchase and payment details through the Link order-management service shown on your receipt. For help with a payment, use Link support. For your listing, account or the Lexandry service, contact [email protected]. You can still stop renewal or use our withdrawal process through Lexandry as described here.

Money back within 14 days

Within 14 days of first buying a plan or an upgrade for a listing, you can get that payment back in full. You do not have to give a reason, and it applies to everyone, business or consumer. A monthly renewal does not start a new 14 days. If you are a consumer in the EU, this is also your statutory right to withdraw from the purchase.

For a first purchase, use “Withdraw from this purchase” on the listing’s payment page in your account. It works until the 14 days end, asks you to confirm once, and starts the refund straight away. For an upgrade, or if you cannot sign in, email [email protected] or use “A question about this payment?” on the same page before the 14 days end. Name the listing and say that you withdraw. A sentence like this is enough: “I withdraw from my purchase of [plan] for [listing], paid on [date]. [Your name]”.

We confirm by email that we received your withdrawal, and when. Within 14 days of receiving it we refund the full amount of that purchase to the payment method you paid with, at no cost to you. The subscription for that listing then ends: paid tags, sources and reports stop, and the listing continues as Free. This is separate from stopping renewal, which only prevents the next charge. After the 14 days we do not refund a period that has already started, unless the law requires it, we could not deliver what you paid for, or a refund is due under the applicable Stripe/Link refund policy. Stripe may also issue refunds under its Sold through Link refund policy. This does not limit our 14-day money-back promise or your mandatory legal rights.

Your legal rights

These terms do not remove mandatory consumer rights, including remedies for a service that does not match the agreement. Tell us what went wrong through Company & contact; we review complaints and reply by email.

Availability and liability

We run Lexandry with care, but we cannot promise that it is always available or free of errors, or that a listing brings you visitors or customers. We do not check every listing; contributors are responsible for what they list, and listed businesses for what they sell. We are not liable for failures outside our reasonable control, such as an outage at a hosting, payment or email provider.

We are not liable for indirect damage, such as lost profit, lost revenue, lost data or damage to reputation. For any other damage, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us for the listing concerned in the twelve months before the damage arose. A claim lapses if you have not told us about it within twelve months of discovering the damage. These limits do not apply to damage caused by our intent or deliberate recklessness.

If someone else makes a claim against us because of content you submitted or because you broke these terms, you compensate us for the resulting damage and reasonable costs.

Law and disputes

Dutch law applies to these terms. If something goes wrong, email us first; we would rather solve it together. A dispute that remains goes exclusively to the District Court of Noord-Holland in the Netherlands. If you are a consumer, you keep the choice of court and the protection that the mandatory law of your country gives you.

Privacy and changes

Read Privacy for account data, public listings and your rights. This page’s date identifies its version. Publishing a revised page alone does not mean you have accepted a change to an existing agreement.
